Drew Barrymore Is Winning At CoParenting

Drew Barrymore and her ex, Will Kopelman, have perfected the art of coParenting this holiday season. The 42-year-old actress reunited with ex-husband, Kopelman, to partake in Christmas celebrations with daughters, Olive and Frankie. She captioned an adorable photo of her and Kopelman brandishing beer mugs and corn dogs with, “#coparenting #kidsnapping Yay successful Xmas morning.” She then shared a video of Kopelman whirring around a skating rink with 3-year-old Frankie in his arms.
The Santa Clarita Diet star has been open about her goal to coParent harmoniously after the end of her marriage in April 2016. She told Ellen DeGeneres that she, “so wanted to raise kids in this ultra-traditional way and do everything so the polar opposite of my experience.” But when things didn’t work out, she was glad that Kopelman was on board to create a loving and safe environment for their children despite it all.

Barrymore has said that “planning” is what makes everything work for her and Kopelman. Something that comes in handy during the busiest time of year. She told Entertainment Weekly that it’s all about making it work so that she can celebrate with people like her ex-in-laws who’s “love and acceptance mean the world” to her. With so many schedules to consider and a crazy celebrity calendar like Drew’s, planning ahead can greatly reduce the chaos.
